The supervisor of K-1 HERO'S, Akira Maeda, revealed a rough outline yesterday of plans for HERO'S to advance on the United States. Maeda showed an unwavering resolve to carry out this plan, claiming that the fight world has entered an age of war between Japan and America, due to UFC's incredible growth in America that has led Nikkan Sports in Japan to now call it the world's largest MMA organization. According to Maeda and K-1 producer Sadaharu Tanigawa, they are looking at May or June as an appropriate time for the show, with Las Vegas the likely host. They also suggested that one or two super-important names from America could be on the show, with pro wrestler Brock Lesnar, who has previously expressed his desire to try MMA, a leading candidate.
